The Communications Working Group is responsible for the goals outlined in the priority area of Community Education. This Group works toward three goals.

To increase understanding of resources.

It is important that the community remain up-to-date about available resources – in case they or someone they know experiences a housing crisis. Our community offers great services; we should all know about them.

To get Weld County involved in the work.

Homelessness has many facets and we all have a role to play in addressing it. Weld County is full of caring citizens who want to help their vulnerable neighbors. They just need to be asked.

To show Weld County whose homeless.

Families with children are the fastest growing population of groups that experience homelessness but few people associate families with homelessness. In order to address the challenges, Weld County must first understand it.
